Please make sure that the chipset of your wireless network adapter is Ralink RT3070.

For Himedia HD600B, its main function is to play HD movies, only have limited internet function. But the HD 1080p media playing function is better than this Android media player.

i downloaded & install the firmware update file (X5_V1.1_20110324) Upgrade) and now it doesn't reconise my remote or anything i plug into the usb host ports, So i cant get it off the home menu. How can i get it back to the factory settings if its stuck on the home menu?

The CPU speed of this player is 500MHz, not 1GHz
There is no Android Market for this player, you need download .apk files from internet and copy to SD memory card, then install to this player.

1. sorry, this player can not be upgrade to Android 3.0
2. we did not test this applications on the player, so we are not 100% sure for that. Maybe it can not run the Android Dreamer application you mentioned.
The main function of this player is playback HD1080p videos, if your main purpose is to run Android system, you can check below item, it has built-in Android Market and could run almost all android apps.
