Update: our supplier has upgrade this player since September 2011, there is no holes on the top of this player, but they added a LED screen on the front panel. The LED screen will display time, when playing movie, it will show the movie playing time. After recording videos, the REC led will light up.

For a PVR, it has dual DVB-T tuners which enable you recording two RF channels simultaneously or watching one channel when recording the other different channel. It supports the time-shifting which can pause the live broadcasting. It allows users to watch and record free-to-air SD & HD digital TV. The unit has support for Electronic Program Guide (EPG), allowing users to record scheduled programs without manually programming the times and channels. The EPG can also be used to automatically switch over to pre-selected programs at the time of airing. You can upgrade your HDD capacity any time with just simple insertion.

For a 1080p Full HD media player, it can truly decodes, playback and outputs High Definition 1080p videos through HDMI interface. It can play the HD MPEG2, HD VC-1, HD AVC/H.264, Blue-Ray ISO movies from external USB/internal hard drive devices to HDTV screen. It could also pass-through the DTS HD Master/Dolby True HD audio to your amplifier receiver, a really true home theater experience. The advanced Network function allows you to browse the video file from your PC or NAS in your study room and play it on TV in the living room, besides, you can also playback all the contents on YouTube and other internet media sites
